Coordinate Measuring
Machines (CMM) are mechanical systems designed to move a measuring
probe to determine coordinate points on a work piece surface. CMMs
are comprised of four main components: the machine itself, the measuring
probe, the control or computing system, and the measuring software.
Machines are available in a wide range of sizes and designs with
a variety of different probe technologies.

With
our Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) we can accurately inspect
the finished product to ensure precision and quality. Another benefit
of a CMM is the ability to quickly turn a prototype part into a
digital file to be used in either the CNC or the Wire EDM.

We
commonly use our coordinate measuring machines for the following
applications: dimensional measurement, profile measurement, angularity
or orientation, depth mapping, digitizing or imaging, and shaft
measurement.
